Tutorial Flight

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new to Rardar Contact. I have successfully installed the program and updated to version 3.01. I am using FS2002. When I run the first tutorial flight, everything works fine untill I change the AP to FL290, then everything goes to hell. The aircraft (B737), two different versions and also an A320, becomes eratic and altitude is impossible to hold. The aircraft goes to a nose up attitude and stalls and looses altitude.(of course the Controler chews me out for not maintaining FL!@) I have never gotten to FL290 using RCv3. With out RC the acft performs normally, with no problems reaching the flight levels and AP seems to control the acft as set up.Am I missing something or is there a built in failure to this flight? I haven't tried the other flights yet, since I would like to successfully complete the first one.Dave

are you flying, or the rc co-pilot, or the planes auto-pilot, or the planes fmcthere is nothing in rc, that controls the plane's behavior

Thanks for your reply. At the time, I had the aircraft under AP control. I read a posting from another user that indicated that the default b737 would go into a unbalaced configuration with a full load of fuel when approaching the FL280, which is about the level that I noticed the problem. I reduced the fuel load on a subsequent flight, but still had the problem. I tried a different acft, "citation 45" and the problem was reduced. This time acft stress haulted my flight. So much for that! Thanks,Dave
