odd copilot requests

Featured Replies

On my last flight from ENGM to KEWR, after reaching FL100 while approaching KEWR the copilot who handled the radios suddenly asked the RC controller for FL440! After receiving the clearance, I was informed to better control my altitude until I was able to request FL 100 as a "lower altitude request".Additionally, the copilot suddenly requested another runway which was bad according to wind direction. So, the copilot is requesting unlogical altitudes and runways without any action from my side :-(

something is sending keystrokes to fs9 (i'm assuming). the co-pilot never does atc requests on her own, without you punching in the keys to do itjd

I still use FS2002. And after handling over the radios to the copilot, I do not hit any sensitive keys.

the co-pilot makes not requests unless a key is hit asking for a specified request.does this happen on every flight? have you tried a different plane/panel? what other add-ons are you running?jd

On my last flight she only ask for a higher flight level once without any action from my side. And on approach I got an ILS14 into FIMP, after a few seconds she asked for runway 14 (!).I use FS2002, FS Meteo and PIC767. I have not yet tried to fly with another aircraft.regards,
