FS2004 & RC installation

Featured Replies

I've been using Radar Contact for FS2002 and love it. Now I wish to use it in FS2004. Exactly how do I do this? I believe I have all necessary updates. Radar Contact Version 3.1. Do I have to reintall program and point it to FS2004. If not where do all the files go in the flight sim?

i thought the directions at the top of the forum were pretty clear. download the rcv31.zip file, and unzip it into the current rcv3 directorydownload and install the wav file updates, and the new 11 and 12 controllersdownload and install the fsuipc 3.03 and advdisp 2.11 and put them in the fs2004modules directory.fire up rcv31.exethat's about it

Your right they are clear. Just got alittle confused about the sound files. For some reason I wanted to put them in the flightsim folder. Old age I guess...LOLEverything works fine.. The only thing I had to change was when I go to window mode in FS9. I also minimize it to the task bar. Otherwise when I start RC, FS9 turns black inside its window, and will not respond. Now with FS9 minimized I just start RC, it minimizes and then I just right click FS9 on the task bar and choose restore. Then go to full screen mode. Thanks for your help.
