fs2004 crash with wx briefing

i have a big problem when i use rc v3.1 and activesky2004.when i choose wx brifing from adv display, fs2004 crash after a lot of seconds.please help me

just for grins, try 3.1 without activesky, and see if the problem happens againjd

Think we are perhaps talking about the same ATIS loop crash that Ken Salter, I, and some others are having.With me it happens without AS in any version. It was worse in FS2K2 than FS9.BTW. I also removed FSSound.dll.

i let rc atis run all night long here, no crashes. there must be something common with the machines that are having this problem. now to find it....jd

Hi,I have the same problem: if I let ATIS repeat three times, everything freezes up. Be sure to contact Delivery after the first run. I run RC 3.1, AS2004, FS9 and PMDG 737NG on a Windows98 machine. I have not explored this problem, running ATIS without AS2004 or with FS9 default aircraft, jet...Thanks, Rudi

let me get this straight, you ask for weather, the call delivery, and then you go back to atis?i just let fs9 run for 5 minutes, looping every 40 seconds with atis info. then i contacted delivery. then i tunded the atis frequency back in. i no loger got atis (which is probably a bug, but certainly something we never tested).still no crashdo you have ms atc sounds enabled? do you hear ms atis and rc atis?try turning of ms atc sounds. better?jd

Pertinent stuff:W98SE, DX 9.0b, Hercules Digifire 7.1. FS9. Going in to FS9 about 500 Mb using VCache "cheat" with 766 Mb ram. FSUIPC 3.14. Latest AdvDisp. Ti4200 with 45.23 drivers.Earlier with earlier build, AdvDisp 2.11 similar problem.
