May 5, 200422 yr Commercial Member does a menu item appear on the menu, with a "1" associated with it?what has changed on your machine recently?is another add-on also using "1"go to where you set the keyboard keys in rc, and see if "1" is associated with menu item 1jd JD Read my blog
May 6, 200422 yr I actually came up with the exact same issue some months ago. I often have to hit key "1" at least 5 to 10 times to get the key responding. JD, I checked my FS2k4 assignments and saw that there is an "Element 1" assigned to key 1. I'm not sure if this causes a conflict or if it has to be assigned this way as "Element 2" refers to key 2, etc.Rgds, Sam
May 7, 200422 yr Hi,seems to be the same problem as I have. I found out, that pushing a few times the "1" key most of the time brings the key to work. Cause the other keys work just fine, I don't think, there is a problem with the key assignments in FS2K4. By the way, what does these "Elements" in FS2K4 mean?JD, thank you for the tips, but there seems to be no problem. Do you think a performance problem can be the reason for this? Acki
May 7, 200422 yr Commercial Member i suppose. what kind of machine are you running?but if fs2k4 has a "1" assigned for something, we will be fighting over who sees it first.since no one knows what element 1 is in fs2k4, change it to ctrl-shift-1or change rc's menu - 1 to ctrl-shift-1, and use ctrl-shift-1 for rc's number menu itemjd JD Read my blog
