Even though I have selected a realistic altitude,I usually am given FL 600. Can someone offer suggestions to prevent this. Thanks for any help.Frank Bevard

what have you chosen, and what have you entered.if you fl290, you should enter 290if you want 7000, you should enter 70above FL600, there are no assign altitudes, you are cleared to 600, and if you go higher, no one will care.jd

yes, but are you puttin 29000, 31000 and 33000 into the cruise altitude box?you should put 290, 310, 330. 29000 is interpretted as 2,900,000 feetwhich qualifies you for fl6000 :-)jd
