I have been considering purchasing Radar Contact 3.0x to enhance the flight simulation. I am running Windows XP and FS9. I looked on the Radar Contact Web site a saw there was a "patch" to run it for FS9. I have never had good luck with patches so I am reluctant to buy this version. Any advise from FS9 and Radar Contact users?

there are thousands of people running this "patch". it's not really a patch, it is version 3.1you get 3.01 on a cd, then you download and install 3.1 on top of it.don't have any fears.jd

I am also thinking about buying it and was wondering if it had any effects on frame rates while running?

I only run FS9 and just purchased RC3 a day ago (and anxiously awaiting its arrival). From what I've heard, I'm confident in the v3.1 upgrade for FS9. I'm so looking forward to flying with this great add-on. Just reading the manual and features list, it looks great. I've always wanted a more realistic ATC in FS, and this seems to be it. Can't wait to get my hands on it! Dana.
