Hello, I get this message when i try to run RC. I have downloaded zip files 11, 12 and 13 and RCwavupdate and copied them to RCVWinwood.I have latest version of FSUIPC and AdvDisplay.Also, RCV3.1 is pointing to RCV31.exe as instructed.,Thankyou for any help on this

there were files in rcv31.zip, other than the .exe - did you extract them into the rcv3 directory as well?what files do you have in the rcv3 directory, where rcv31.exe is?jd

sorry for delay.,I have rcv3,a2,aircraft,airspace,rcv31 and runways in my rcv3 directory, although I do not see rcv31.exe in this directory?

You need to extract rcv31.exe from the rcv31.zip file you downloaded and copy it to your Radar Contact folder.

ok, so i goto rcv31 on my desktop, open it and right-click to highlight rcv31.exeThen i go to extract., what should the extract to box be highlighting now (i.e Radar Contact folder). , or is copy different to extract?Thanks for helping out a computer illiterate numbskull by the way:-)

It should be pointing to your Radar Contact folder. The default is c:program filesrcv30.
