Reregistering RC

Featured Replies

I have been running RC on a networked computer with my Project Magenta setup in order to take the load off my main flight sim computer. However, since I did a reinstall of WinXP, some of the RC components are not properly registered anymore. I cant seem to find my RC disk (honestly, I did purchase it) and was wondering if there is anyway I can do some command line stuff so it will run again??thanksJohn WhiteNewburgh, IN

i recalled giving the .dll information to someone else, here on the forum. when i did a search, it was you.the files you need are just the regular vb6 run time .dll's - you can download them from a number of places, and they might even install and register them for youhere are the ones you needcomdlg32.ocxStdOle2.tlbMSVBVM60.dllOleAut32.dllOlePro32.dllAsycFilt.dllmscomctl.ocx

Yeah, it was me... and I must really appear stupid to keep asking the same questions. But I knew if I kept at it, Id get it figured out.I tried and tried by downloading the vb6 installer, but it still didnt work. Then I downloaded a collection of library files from another company whose software I use, and LO AND BEHOLD, it made it so the radar contact program worked.... FINALLY..Yeah, Yeah.I just love using the program, but I hate running it on my main fs cmputer. Now Im flying happy again.Again, sorry to be such a nuisance on this ...John WhiteNEwburgh, INAm looking forward to release 4.0
