Hi,when I realized I have no canned chatter anymore in the UK and the US I reinstalled RC. After that everything worked fine again but the next time I heard only the RC synthesized chatter again. Of course I have a full installation and all the wavs are there.Someone got an idea what's the reason for the problem?ThanksAxel

Make sure the Chatter slider on the Option page is not set to off. How many files do you have in each of the following folders:Winwood 0 thru 13

Hi Rick,OK the slider is set to 5 all the time.Here are the files in folder 0-13:O and 1 have 10302,3,4,6,8,9,10 have all 11355 has got 11367,11,12 and 13 have 1134all inclusive the txt.fileHope it helps,Thank you, Axel

Those totals are all correct. On the RC Options menu what do you have checked under the other category?

you're missing the recorded chatter? correct?are you flying over water?sounds like rc is running out of one directory where there are enough wavs in the winwood directory, but none of the recorded chatter directories.what directories and what are the file counts for winwooduk and winwoodusa?jd

OK,the winwood/uk and winwood/usa each contain eight folders.here are the numbers of files:usa/app 99usa/atc1 99usa/atc2 100usa/atc3 99usa/cd 19usa/dep 25usa/grd 84usa/twr 99uk/app 100uk/atc1 100uk/atc2 101uk/atc3 30uk/cd 7uk/dep 51uk/grd 10uk/twr 72I guess these numbers are correct cause the first flight after reinstallation was correct. The problem occurs the next time I fly to the area.Yesterday I had a trip from KORD to KSFO. Did not have any recorded chatter until KSFO approach. Suddenly the recorded chatter was there again.Thanks for your repliesAxel

are you chaning the fs time while rc is running?

No, if I change the time, I do it before running RC.Started in Spain a few hours ago and also didn't have any recorded chatter.Axel

Hi JD,I reinstalled RC agein but the problem is still the same.I started flights in Spain and the UK but did not have any recorded chatter.When flying from Germany to the Netherlands there was recorded chatter as it should be.Rick asked if I fly over water when center changes. Is this a problem? Using RC for several years now as it is one of the best Addons and never had that problem.Do you have no idea?Thanks, Axel

in 3.1 i don't play chatter over the water. not realistic in 90% of the time.no uk chatter on the ground? that's strange. you have wavs in the winwooduk directory?is it just one airport in the uk, or all airports in the uk?same for spain. anything in winwoodspain?jd

JD,there are wavs in all folders, I guess they are all complete.It is not one airport.I'm pretty sure I had recorded chatter at once when changing to London control coming from the Netherlands (over water) in 3.1 before.Is it possible another addon is the reason for the problem?Axel

and you have the chatter slider set to the max?why not try cutting back on the add-ons, one at a time, and see if it makes a difference. would be interesting to know if there is a problem there. i'd like to know about it, if there isjd
