Altitude glitch?

Featured Replies

Anyone else ever encounter this? You are at your cruise altitude of FL350. TCAS shows traffic at FL330, 2000' below your altitude, but RC reports their altitude as "FL350", and reports your altitude to them as "FL370", in other words, all altitudes consistently off by 2000'. It's like RC was using the wrong sound files for the altitudes. Mark Kuebeler

interesting. one thing that we have noticed in v4, the ai planes are not internally setting altimeter to 29.92. so the altitude they are reporting, is going to be wrong.i'm assuming you have set your altimeter to 29.92?

Yes, always above 18,000. I thought the pressures being used by Active Sky seemed fairly higher than usual. Wonder if that was having an effect?Mark Kuebeler
