Turn back! You missed that VOR!!

Featured Replies

FYI I am a brand new user. I have only used the product with only one single flight - KDEN TO KORD and it was my second flight with the new LevelD 767-300ER. I departed fine but after a few VORs or waypoints I passed the HCT VOR and all of a sudden it told me I was "off course, turn back 230 degrees...." that was a 180 degree turn around! There was nothing I could do but turn the bird around! I didn't have time for that, kinda pushed for time...so I exited out. Anybody have any ideas? I used FSBuild 2.2 to do the planning and imported it succesfuly into RC.PLAIN3.HCT J128 OBH J100 PUMKN FOD DBQ.JVL4RC V3.1 and FS9 with LevelD 767-300ERThanksWilson HinesUAL004United Virtual AirlinesBoard of Directorshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-700---------------------------------------FS9|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

you have to pass within 10 miles of each checkpoint, or you don't get "credit" for it.if you are flying a departure procedure, the margin of error is 2 miles.in the future, request a future checkpoint, which will be approved, and continue flying.jd

Yep, asking for a "direct to...next checkpoint" will get you straightened out and away from the 180's. ;-)Will
