March 11, 200521 yr I bet this question has been asked 100 times 100 different ways.I can't use OTTO because I am using Level D or other software run panels like PSS. So, how can I just put my bird up to cruise level and go "do something....whatever it is?" March 11, 200521 yr Commercial Member otto doesn't work with non ms autopilots. sorry.isn't that what these fancy planes with fancy fmcs supposed to do?one of the things rc allows for, which seems to break the lds plane, is pause at distance. so tell rc to pause at 200 miles from the destination, let the fancy planes electronics fly it to the 200 mile point. then when you get back, you can continue the fly.jd JD Read my blog
March 12, 200521 yr What you have said to do is common sense, but wouldn't the ATC hand offs be missed and what is the consequences of that?Wilson HinesUAL004United Virtual AirlinesBoard of Directorshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-X, LevelD 767---------------------------------------FS2002|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://www.ldsflyingclub.com/lsd1.jpg

March 13, 200521 yr Do Not use the pause at XXX miles if your flying the Level-D 767. Any fsuipc command to pause the sim causes the Level-D autopilot to not only become pretty useless it does some really crazy things. This has been documented here in this forum and in Level-D's forum. This is not and I repeat not the fault of Radar Contact. Will
