Hi. I am having a strange problem running RC in FS version 9. The checklist will pop up unexpectedly maybe once or twice during each flight. After this happens the flaps will automatically deploy to takeoff position. I am flying the payware Commander but this only happens when RC is running.This weekend I downloaded the final RC version 3 build and reset my FSUIPC settings to default. I verified that I have the latest FSUIPC.I am also running FS Meteo. (I don't have the version number with me but it is the version compatible with FS9)Any ideas what could be causing this? do the flaps deploy or the checklist appear after you hit a key you're thinking rc is expecting? sounds like there is a conflict between your rc key codes and fs's keysjd

Most of the time I will be in cruise with the AP set and the checklist appears and then the flaps deploy (almost always in sequence). To answer the question - no, this does not normally happen after keystokes. Normally it happens during midflight and approach phases.Regardless I will check the RC manual and compare key codes with FS and see if that helps. This was more useful than the "stop drinking beer when you fly" response I got on a different forum. I may have issues with system settings that I don't even know where to begin fixing. I also use FSAutostart which shuts down cerain processes. Maybe that is causing it?Thanks.MikeRTWBUZZER55
