After uninstalling FSHotseatFX...

Featured Replies

After uninstalling the FSHotSeatFX, I got this message:FSUIPC couldn't run: "EFSFXSoundFSHotfx.exe MINIZ" [Error=2]I then went back and uninstalled it again, a differnt way (thru the application itself) and still get the same error message after initially staring FS9. Everything worked fine after I clicked 'ok'.Now, Radar Contact was working fine, but then all of a sudden today my FS9 software locks up with a flashing hourglass after trying to maximize FS after it's sized down to start RCV4. My system is as follows:AMD2800Windows XP Home1 Gig 2700 RAM6600GT 128mb Geforce vid cardAny ideas how to get rid of that message, and also why FS is now not working?thanks,Eric

I used Control panel, add / remove programs to uninstall mine. If you haven't already done that, maybe a system restore in windows XP and try to uninstall it again using the control panel....

look in the fsuipc.ini file - i bet you will find that command line near the bottom. delete itjd

Okay, I just fixed it I THINK! Let's hope so. I will try it w/ASV6 next week after getting back from Christmas w/ the family. I did delete that little file text that was at the end of FSIUPC that was related to when I had FSHotSeatFX. I tell you, that little sucker was draining my system! My FS is now seemingly working better. After I did that, my CPU resources went from being pegged at 100% to no more than 40-50%!! Thanks! Now for bed!Ericps...thanks for letting me rant and for the help.
