First emergency wirth RC4

Featured Replies

Well, I had my first emergency with Rc4 and I loved it.A short 737 flight from Edmonton International to Red Deer - on a long final approach when the gear didn't go down. Declared the emergency and stupidly asked for Red Deer to land - next time I have a gear problem I'll go to an airport with an ILS system.Fs Passengers wanted me to Squawk 7700, but RC4 doesn't recognise that code in the emergency (too bad).We crashed on the runway, killing 104 and injuring 2. The pilot and copilot survived, but were injured. The aircraft was history. Not a good ending, but a learning experience for sure.
