I get clearance to taxi to runway, then the only option I`m offered is to request runway. I dont get to talk to tower.I didn`t update the scenery in RC until some time after installation.Any advice, please?

nothing really to ask for at that point, except a different runway. start taxiing to the runway you were given. about half way there you will be told to either monitor tower (you'll be given the frequency), which means swithc com1 to that frequency, or you will be told to contact tower,

I re-loaded the RC scenery and everything now seems fine. I know it`s not the program - I`m an idiot. I don`t know how you guys can be so patient!
