Quoted from the AFCAD readme:Float planes don't work properly at water airportsAlthough you can build a water aerodrome, the AI will still think they are on a land airport. Float planes with retractable gear will taxi around as if they were on pavement, and fixed float planes may taxi around with a trail of sparks. There is apparently nothing that can be done to make the AI behave as if they were on water.

You can improve this:(EFFECTS)wake=fx_wakewater=fx_waterlanddirt=fx_tchdrtconcrete=fx_waterland // instead of sparkstouchdown=fx_spray,1Fx_waterland is by Bob Tremblay. Some float planes (for AI use) need some further fixing to the contact points, too.ckfly

I saw a britten norman islander land on the water a few days ago at Meigs but unfortunatly it is not a float plane lol it sorta sankAnniette xxxxxxxxxxx
