If I don't erase my product ID, I don't get any error message. The registration window just closes. If I restart RC I get again the registration windows.Thank youPaolo

did you uninstall rc, before you re-installed?different machine? different directory?jd

Same pc, but I had to format the disk after a major upgrade (cpu, mb and video card). And now FS9 is in a different partition (the OS is in c:, FS9 is in H - same disk)Thank you Paolo

so you are installing from scratch?i'd try uninstalling it, deleting the contents of the rcv4 directory, if there is anything left, and installing it againjd

Yes, I am.I have already tried, and I have installed the RC in the main partition where XP is, but I got the same error. Actually if I just put the key without deleting the ID number I don't get any message, the window just closes.Thank you

did you send the new product id to [email protected], and get a new key? when you replace the hard drive, you will need a new keyjd
