Hi folks,i ordered my RCv4 copy on sunday january 22nd.Now:1) how long does it usually take to arrive in Italy?2) does it make sense updating RCv3 ILS database? If i have understood RCv4 will build its navaid database upon FS9/addon sceneries. True?ThanksLuigi ;-)

1) it would be pure speculation to tell you when you'll get it. plenty of time to read the manual.2) after you install v4, you should rebuild the scenery db for rc, which will read all of your scenery files, and update the runways, airports, lat/longs, and frequenciesjd

On my computer (3.0gHz WinXP Pro) RC4 takes just over 3 minutes to completely read all 24,181 airports with 55768 runways, etc and to update the data base. AND I have a number of other addon sceneries (Megascenery) included.It's not prohibitive to do once in a while.You'll like the new changes coming in RC4.Jim in Atlanta (KPDK)
