Multiplayer and ATC

Featured Replies

First off I love ATC in the flightsim environment and for me RC4 improves on the default ATC by miles. I enjoy multiplayer flying with light aircraft around fantastic looking scenery (Misty Fjords) and enjoy flying on VATSIM. I know during multiplayer sessions the default ATC is disabled but I just found out I can fly multiplayer session and have RC4 working. I am not sure if this is documented. Now I have done this several times and I did have 1 crash where RC4 closed. You may ask why I want ATC in multiplayer, well that leads me to some new software called FSNet. (www.gates.to) this allows 1 aircraft, 1 cockpit with 2 pilots sharing it, in a multiplayer session. I have a couple of queries.1) Has this been documented? I performed a search in the help and on the forum but nothing. 2) Is the reason for the crash to do with other users in the session and RC4 trying to communicate with them? Have a lot more testing I want to do but need to find someone to help me!Thanks for a great piece of software :)

1) i wasn't aware of people who wanted to use radar contact and multiplayer simultaneously. so it's not something we've looked at, and it's documented.2) unsure. next time, launch rc, click debug, load the .pln, click start rc. fly your multiplayer session, and if it crashes, zip up the rcv4.log file and send it to me at [email protected]
