February 2, 200620 yr hi jd,i ordered my copy on january 22nd!a supersonic shipment...will my Reg Key be as fast as CD?luigi ;-)
February 2, 200620 yr DONE! Thank you jd.Now please tell me where i can find the file called MAKERWYS.exe :-(I have to run it on my FS Machine to create the file r4.csvthanks a lotLuigi ;-)
February 2, 200620 yr Commercial Member or, if there isn't a registry entry for your fs9 path, it will be in c:it has to live in the fs9 root directory.you don't have to run it by itself, use the "update scenery db" button on the rc main screenjd JD Read my blog
February 2, 200620 yr thank you both,i found the solution here:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=15245&page=effectively makerwys.exe was in C: on WideFs machineand my FS9 path is in the registry:-hmmm now i have moved that file into FS9 folder and ran w/o any sort of flaw for less that 2' :-cool and my scenery.cfg contains 584 areas!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140744.jpgfinally on WideFS machine i rebuilt Scenery DB!Some more questions1) no more sliders in v.4 for AI chatters/Pre-Recorded chatters? What to do to increase/decrease chatters density?2) what about v.3 Traffic Vectors?back in the cockpit Luigi ;-)
February 2, 200620 yr Commercial Member 1) ai chatter is based on what the chatter is doing. there is no way of changing the density, other than increasing the amount of aipre recorded chatter is either on or off. i'd recommend turning it off for a number of reasons.2) all the things in v3 that attempted to make it more realistic, by simulating things that weren't there, have been removed. now when you're enroute the ai are moved out of your way, as opposed to you having to move. that will change again in v5 ;-)jd JD Read my blog

February 2, 200620 yr sorry but what i do not understand is: how can rcv4 move AI traffic out of my way? Do you mean rcv4 can deviate AI taxiing on the ground or flying at cruise level?at this point maybe my first rcv4 flight will be useful to understand the new rules...thanksLuigi ;-)
February 3, 200620 yr Commercial Member yes, enroute and on final, i move ai out of the wayon the ground i freeze them, and thaw them outjd JD Read my blog
