flightplan disagreement

Featured Replies

Can anyone come up with a reason why rc and the fmc and fnavigator all disagree on my heading to the next intersection?rc wants about 20 degrees right of where both the fmc ( pdmg) and fsnavigator want. It lists the same intersection in the window ( 70 degress) and the fmc and in fsnavaigator ( 49 degrees), however rc clearly wants me to go ofcourse? ( iI used fsnavigator to export the plan to both fsn and pdmg)Mike

>Can anyone come up with a reason why rc and the fmc and >fnavigator all disagree on my heading to the next>intersection?>Mike,No answer yet but this has been noted and is under investigation. Until we nail it down, if RC accuses you of being off course and tells you to fly an incorrect heading to get back on course, increase the heading deviation value found by selecting the GENERAL tab under Radar Contact Options.-michael

thanksI asked for wx deviation, seemed to work LOL

>thanks>>I asked for wx deviation, seemed to work LOLWell, yeah, that works also! ;-)I increased my heading deviation to 15 degrees and no longer get yelled at.-michael

how far were your checkpoints apart?jd

I dont recall the exact distance but it was fairly large Im gussing 400 miles, I was follwing a flightplan posted on flight aware accross canada to europe. at first I thought it might have to do with true versus magnetic but I wasnt able to verify thatMike
