June 15, 200223 yr I know this has been addressed before, but how do you keep ATC from calling your aircraft "Experimental?" I have tried changing atc airline and atc id and nothing seems to work. I want to use "Citation." I am using a FS2000 aircraft that I modified for FS2002. Thanks for your help!Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.
June 15, 200223 yr I think the awwnser is in this two lines you can change the atc model to what you like and that is where flight sim will identify it but only if it is on the list of aircrafts that came with shuffler or tools:[Micro Jet]<"Learjet 45">LearjetAvroRJ85RJ-85Dornier 328RJ200RJ-200CRJ100CRJ-100These are what is there now ,if citation is not there it will not work less you add it.So either change to one that is there or add it and you will not get experimental ok[General]atc_type=Concordeatc_model=B744[General]atc_type=AIRBUSatc_model=A320
June 15, 200223 yr There are several hundred aircraft types accepted by ATC including eight models of the Cessna Citation. Add the following entries to the section of your aircraft.cfg file and ATC will call you "Citation".atc_type=CESSNAatc_model=C500Replace the brackets with square ones. Square brackets do not display on this forum, so I used the <> ones. For a complete listing of all the airlines, manufactures, and types ATC will accept, download Eric Buhagiar
