Hi,I was taxying at Edinburgh this evening and an aircraft landed and taxied right across my path. I was not asked to hold, nor was the other aircraft. Is this correct?I was under the impression that RC4 avoided this sort of thing!:-( Regards,Paul

Paul,RC does not include conflict resolution on the ground. On some systems (probably default AI), the AI will hold short for you and avoid running into you by themselves. RC doesn't do that, the AI have been programmed that way. When we add a lot of other AI, it seems they become less intelligent and don't stop for you anymore.RC does a good job of controlling aircraft on the runway, and it speeds up AI in front of you when you're on final, and slows down AI behind you when on final as well, to avoid overtaking.Ground 'control' is extremely complex and is not part of RCv4 at this time.Subs
