Airport Scenery replacement....HOW?

Featured Replies

I am trying to install an airport scenery for Dallas Ft. Worth. I put a folder in my FS2002 scenery folder named kdfw. In it there is a Scenery and a texture folder. When I go to the scenery menu and add the scenery, then load the flight up at KDFW, I get two airports overlapping, the default and the scenery I installed. Is there a way to remove the default scenery? And if the scenery I installed is not what I want, put it back?http://www.forefrontgrp.com/jayssig.jpg"There is an art . . . to flying. Well Ok obviuosly your add-on airport does not have a 'build-in' exclude area, so go thru the readme file of the scenery and search for an exclude entry in the scenery.cfg. When you have found it, just add the few lines to the end of the scenery.cfg which is located in the FS2K2 main folder. If you need any help doing this, let me know.Cheers! :-beerchughttp://flightsimmers.net/airport/etti/signature_pro.jpg
