When I try to run the rcv4.exe as instructed on the back of the CD box, I get a message saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)". Is this a defective CD?

try installing it on another machine. if that works, it's probably a flaky driveif it fails there, try copying the contents of the cd to a temp directory on your hard disk. then run the install from the temp directory.if that doesn't work, it could be a bad cd. contact [email protected] if you still have problemsjd
