September 13, 200619 yr If I change the frequency as directed by RC on the radio stack, RC doesn't seem to know it.
September 14, 200619 yr Commercial Member are you pressing 1 to contact the next controller?you may need to walk me through, option by option, key by key, what you're doing, and what isn't workingand while you're duplicating the problem, create a log of what you're doing with the instructions pinned at the top of the forumjd JD Read my blog
September 14, 200619 yr When I was given frequency for the next controller, copilot repeats back. Then I change the freqency on the radio stack, and press the swap button. Now, my new frequency becomes active, but moments later, RC screams at me "I told you to contact xyz center on abc.d, did you got that". I shouldn't have received that trasmition as my frequency has changed. No?
September 14, 200619 yr Commercial Member but you didn't contact a controller! you just change the frequencyjd JD Read my blog
September 14, 200619 yr If I change the frequency, I shouldn't be receiving transmitions from the original controller either, yes?
September 14, 200619 yr Commercial Member true. but for simplicity, and to keep people from losing track of what frequency they were on, were supposed to be on, are on, should be on, i always transmit the controller message to you, regardless of the frequency you're onjd JD Read my blog
