Orlando to Key West

Featured Replies

Have flown a number of flights with the new Radar Contact version for FSX with no problems. Am also using FSMetro for weather. Today while starting up a GPS flight from Orlando to Key West, Florida. Radar Contact stops and disconnects while getting clearance with a run time error. See attached snap shot of error. (Runtime error 76)I tried it several times and always get the same error. Any idea what is causing this?

76 is path not found, please verify that the path to the "my documentsflight simulator x files" is set properly by pressing the .flt/.wx buttonif that doesn't fix it, follow the directions on creating a log pinned at the top of the forumduplicate the problemsend me the .logjd

Hi JD,Created a log, but then decided to load another plan that I had flown sucessfully as I have not had any problems with other flights. Got the same message. Have not tweaked my fsx.cfg file or made any changes. Will do as you say and see what happens. Thanks

the .flt/.wx button is in rc. that is how you tell rc where to put .rcd filesare you running autosave? if so, that would be another smoking gun that the path to the my documentsflight simulator x files is incorrect in rcjd

Gave up on this flight. Will try it again tomorrow. Flew one from Chattanooga to Charlotte after my post and everything worked fine. Yes, I am running autosave as well.I pointed the program to my documentsflight simulator x files again as instructed just to make sure it did not change for some reason. Thanks for the help!
