Everytime I rebuild the database 4.3 ask me for the path to FSX. I thought after giving 4.3 the path it would store it for future use. Is there a problem that it can not store the path to FSX?

there is no problem.i've found that in my many years of supporting this product, one of the biggest problems i face, is the way people install/move/delete/rename the flight simulator directory. rarely do they install and uninstall.they simply move it, rename it, copy it from another machine, delete it....so the registry key is often not there, or the value is likely wrong.so when you rebuild your scenery database, i'm going to simply ask you the location, instead of guessing or relying on faulty information in the registryyou should only have to rebuild the scenery database when you add or remove sceneryjd
