i have never had a problem with radar contact until FSX came out , all i want to do is upgrade radar to FSX, and i did all the things in your read me file.started to work, but im not for sure it worked correctly.so im starting from scratch from your version 4 cd.went to site to upgrade to 4.01, appeared to work fine.then from 4.01 to 4.2 everything went to the pits, never seen this kind of information that they want.i have to run a file in fsx root directory , makerwys.exe, i did that and the other things requested of me and i still get an error.also how do i send you a log.and will otto work with the default planes in FSX.thanks...............Robert

upgrade 4.0 to 4.01then upgrade 4.01 to 4.2then upgrade 4.2 to 4.3don't stop in between, and do stuff.make sure that you enter the correct rcv4 directory when you do the 4.01 upgrademake sure the 4.2 .exe goes into the rcv4 directoryfollow the directions for the 4.3 upgrade - you don't say whether you still want to use fs9 or not. that's all in the readme fileotto will do the ms planesno need for a log, until you have 4.3 runningjd

Thanks for the reply, im still having the same problem, i am running a network through widefs, so im running radar c. on another machine.i have uninstalled radar contac and will load from cd which is 4.0 i think, then upgrade to 4.01.from that point i get some message that says that the flightsim is not loaded so you must be running widefs. then run some file in youe server machine which i dont have or see.so at this point what do i dowhen i do get this done how and where do you see if you did the upgrade, where do you look to see if the upgrade worked.thank...............Robert
