June 17, 200223 yr I have two hard drives, the original 8GB 5400rpm whish has Windows 98SE and some other stuff on it and another 7200 rpm which has FS2002 and some other stuff on it. Does this make any difference? I have plenty of room on the hd that has Windows on it to install Fs2002 but can't figure out how and retain the version on the second hd for comparison purposes does anyone know how to do this? June 17, 200223 yr HiReal easy. Just copy your whole fs2002 directory to the "c" drive. The only thing is if you add anything to fs2002, it will be added to the original location because this is what is written to the registry when you first installed the game. To have programs loaded to your "c" drive, you will have to edit the registry so it points to the new location.Ed
June 18, 200223 yr not so easy..after an hour of copying, recopying it keeps finding excuses not to start.."Third party software..FSRES.dll unable to load" then it crashes..anyone have anyother ideas? I've tried renaming the original FS2002 to FS2002a but no joy..anyone/..Jamesj
June 18, 200223 yr Author Hi. Ed is right, but it only applies to the MSFS2K2. For other add ons you will have to reinstall them and tell them to go to the new Directory. I have copies that I run from D: and E:, in different configurations. TV
