Hi Everyone:When I am flying a complete STAR in RC 4, is there a way to request a "direct to point X..." along the STAR so as to shorten the STAR if it is a long one (if ATC can accomodate me at the time of course)? How do I make this request if there is a way (what menu screen would it be on)?Thanks!Chris Catalano

Hi Chris,RC will not deviate from your filed flight plan until you contact Approach 40 miles from the arrival airport. IF your plan includes waypoints for the STAR then you can request a IAP option when you make first contact with App.The option appears on the main menu. You will be cleared down to the approach altitude and will have freedom as to which headings you fly.Cheers,
