I think I need some help

Featured Replies

Normally I manage to solve any problems that might arise just by being stubborn and reading FAQ's and other stuff like that. Radar Contact is the first program that has been able to beat me so far..I'll give you an as exact history as possible:1. I installed FSX2. I installed FSUIPC (the latest)3. I installed RC4 and updated through 4.01 and 4.2 to 4.3Now as I start FSX and set RC up and press start everything is okay. Then I load the same flight plan in FSX and press "fly now". When the loading is all done the game starts as usual, and the FSUIPC window is there, with some red text in it. The problem is that when I press 1 to clear my IFR nothing happens, RC won't respond to any keys.. I've tried changing them to ctrl+1 and so on, but that won't work either. So then I thought I'd reinstall FS9 and try getting it to work with that. The problem now is that although I have the most recent FSUIPC for FS9 RC tells me that my FSUIPC version is too old or I have no FSUIPC.What really puzzles me is that as long as I had RC assigned to FS9 and ran FSX it seemed to work. The FSUIPC window was renamed Radar Contact and when I pressed the keys the tower started talking to me.Could anyone shed some light to this?

do you have two rcv4 directories, one for fs9 and one for fsx?are you running the rcv4.exe from one directory when you run it for fs9 and from the other one when you run fsx?what version of fsuipc is in the fs9 modules directory?if you want to follow the instructions pinned at the top of the forum, generate a log and send it to mejd

I did have two separate directories, yes.yes on the second question too3.7.3.0I'll get to creating some logs, you should have them later today or tomorrow..
