I just installed rc4 with all of the recent updates (4.03)when i load the software everything seems fine but when i click any buttons or try to create a flight plan it just quits without notice like if i just exit the program. please help! Thanks in advance to all. Ang171

did you click the rebuild scenery database button?is there an error that displays that might help?jd

Yes i followed all of the instructions from the installation file. its really weird, i click on the icon and the software loads normally, then when i go and click on the flight plan icon the program just quits on me. I get no messages before or after. I tried reinstalling but same results please help. Ang171

follow the directions at the top of the forum, on how to make a logmake sure you click debug before loading the .plnsend me the .log and the .plnjd

when I click on debug rc quits so unfortunately i have no way of sending you a .log any suggestions?

really? no dialog box asking where you want to put the .log?how many files and folders do you have in your rcv4 directoy?what os are you running?jd

I'm using xp media edition but since i have installed this os i have had only trouble so what i'm doing now is reformatting my hard drive and installing xp pro hoping that this will bring my machine the way it was before and use the awesome radar contact.I'll keep you updated on my quest towards making RC work again!PS. i know its not related with this topic but is there a version 5 of RC? and if yes where can i download it from?
