May 9, 200719 yr Hello allI just got RC and as you probably can inagine, loads of questions.Ok, today I had my 2nd flight from EGLL to OMDB.I was at gate 407 ( T4 ) and was instructed to taxi to HP rwy 27L, so I did, and eventually I taxied to Hp SB1, and waited there for 17 minutes and did not get a to line up and take off, instead, RC was giving all the aircraft from the othere side of the rwy's HP (NB1) clerance to take off. so I ended up taxing behind the traffic at NB1, and got the clerance.Second was that As soon as I took off followed DVR4G, by the time I was over DVR, there were too much traffic there, there were atleast 30 ACs in my TCAS, and every 2 minutes I was told by ATC that there is a traffic at XX oclock, I use Mytraffic + air traffic density set at 80%.BTW, where can I download AISmooth from? Thanks a lot for being paitient,,Navid
May 9, 200719 yr AI Smooth at:http://www.sg-flightware.de/I recommend it be used with Respond To User Aircraft turned off to prevent problems with RC conflicts of AI control especially when you are in final approach and landing where if enable RC will control AI around you for separation.Be aware that this will space out approach traffic but not departure traffic.By spacing out arrival traffic this will shorten the takeoff queue of AI.RC4 does not control the sequencing of departing AI. That is all in FS. You are hearing regenerated comms from FS AI run by FS. Make sure you are pulled close to the runway so RC recognizes you are at the hold short point. The view from the cockpit could be misleading at the view angle.I sometimes find AI stalled on facing taxiways across a runway. If this is causing a problem consider removing one of them from the previous taxiway intersection (so there is no dead-end segment) with AFCAD. This will not remove the visible path in normal scenery and AI one one side will use the next taxi way up usually close by.See if any of this helps. Also do a search in this forum for EGLL as I recall stalled aircraft and solution from previous posts.
