Installation problem with version 4.3 for FSX

Featured Replies

I just purchased Radar contact today via download, and installed it for both FS9 and FSX, full installations. I received my registration key, and input it into the FS9 version of rcv4 without a problem, and the program now opens fine. But I then clicked on the rcv4x.exe file to see if I also needed to enter the registry key there, but it won't open. I get this message:C:Program Filesrcv4xwinwood99 was not found. RC cannot continueI don't see anything in the FAQ about this problem. Thanks in advance!Chris Wren

that's interestingcopy the files in C:Program Filesrcv4winwood99 to C:Program Filesrcv4xwinwood99 and see if that helpsjd

Come to find out, my daughter was using my PC while RC was installing, and unknown to me she stepped on the power button on the surge suppressor and killed everything. I'm assuming she must have shut the computer off while the FSX version was still installing, because over half the folders under the Winwood folder which are present in the FS9 version are not in the FSX version folder. So early this morning I started installing it all over, and will check to see if everything is there tonight. Thanks for the help so far.
