Keys dont seem to work under FSX?

Featured Replies

Hi,Ive just purchased Radar Contact and downloaded the lastest verison for FSX. However, when running FSX i don't get an ADV display just the FSUPIC display window. This does seem to have the correct options on it 1,2 or 0 for menu but non of the keys seem to do anything. I can't find anything speicic for FSX in the quick start guide so was after some advice on what i could be doing wrong?Thansk in adanceMike.

something else may be using the keys. in rc, go to the keyboard screen and change 0, 1, 2 to ctrl-shift-0, ctrl-shift-1, and ctrl-shift-2 and use those instead. don't forget to restart fs after you change the rc keysjd

Hi,Thanks for the quick response but i'm afraid it makes no difference, my current setup is: Core 2 Quad 2.4gig, 4gig RAM, Windows Vista x64 Ultimate and Geforce 8800GTS. I am also using CH's Flight Sim Yoke and Pro Pedals?Don't know if any of that helps? Thanks Mike

Sorry found out myself, I was loading RC at the FSX selection screen before it actually loads the sim itself. When I loaded it once I was in the cockpit it worked fine.Sorry about that, but thanks for the response.Mike
