FS9 Crashes when checking weather into KPHX

Featured Replies

Wasn't sure if RCV4 was the problem or not but I'm starting to think it is since it's happened now 3 times in a row, once from KSFO, twice now from KSEA. While descending when I get my clearance to 12,000 when I'm within 70nm's from PHX, when I then press 2 to check the weather, instant crash. Screen goes black, RCV4 still runs, FS9 crashes. It only does it if I check the weather, one time from PDX I didn't check, no problemo. Doesn't happen at any other airports.

There is a quirk in RC, that we haven't been able to find and correct to date. It seems your arrival ATIS frequency conflicts with another one, or something related as such. Before starting the flight, try changing the KPHX arrival ATIS to something else, like 118.00MHz. Fingers crossed, that might do the trick. If it still occurs, create a log as posted at the top of the forum and send it to jd.Subs

Yeah I slightly remember having this problem well over a year or 2 ago, can't remember though. Thanks. I'll be trying another flight soon, I'll be wincing when I push to check weather. ;)
