November 25, 200718 yr Why is it and i'm still new learning all this that when approach vector you to a runway and you set your NAV1 for that ILS then they vector you to another runway?
November 25, 200718 yr Moderator The most probable reason is that when you're first advised on the arrival runway based on the wind direction the Ai cannot be detected.Once you are closer RC will check which runway is being used by Ai and allocate the same to you.Hope that helps.
