November 28, 200718 yr http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=27240&page=should help you particularly responses 7 and 8.The thread is titled Long Terminal Procedures and is just a few messages earlier.I also use FSB as well, v. 2.3. If you use an FMC equipped aircraft it is important to use the FSB SID/STAR database and export the plan to FS (for RC) and to your FMC for import into it. This insures that RC and your FMC have the same procedure waypoints (procedures are converted to waypoints in the export process). The procedure database in your FMC will probably differ from the waypoints in your plan.Remember that ATC rules, not your FMC. At some point on arrival you will be vectored off your STAR unless you select an IAP option. For departure if the first waypoint is within 30 nm you will not receive vectors but expected to fly as filed. Outside of this RC will line you up and when told to resume your own navigation go direct from your present position to the waypoint RC expects. Do not return to the original path your FMC has calculated. Please read the RC manual for arrival and departure options.
