I am on the first scenario and do not hear any chatter, is that normal. Do I need to check "recorded chatter" as well?

do you have interact with ai checked, and ai chatter?are there ai around?if you are on ground freq, and the ai aren't doing anything that warrant chatter with the ground controller, you won't hear anything.if you think you should be hearing chatter, you can make a .log, send it to metell me what callsign and what controller you would have expected chatter with/to, and i'll tell you what wasn't happeningjd

I have all checked, and there was plenty of traffic. Going into ORD I was held for flow for about 15 min. I have turned off voice on the sim to eliminate atc. I will play around and worry about chatter after I get comfortable again with Rc.....BABY STEPS.
