February 4, 200818 yr hello,I've been trying to get the text of the ATC communications displayed on screen, but no luck. I got the checkbox marked in the Radar Contact options (general/"display text" feature), but the text won't show anywhere. The FSUIPC is setup as shown in the user guide (show multiline, hide single line..), and I have unregistered FSUIPC (3.75 in FS9 and the 4.152(?) in FSX). I tried to get text show in both FS9 and FSX. I got some partial results in FS9 but only if I installed AdvDisp in fs9 modules folder - which I understand is not really needed... so, how do I get the text in the standard RC window to show?I did look through the forum, and I searched user guide in detail before posting this.thanks for helpDave
February 5, 200818 yr Commercial Member display text option on the options screen, is for hearing impaired. it is covered in the manual. it sends the word for word conversation, spelled out, to the display window (greenish window) of fs9 or fsxyou don't need advdisplay.dll, delete it.fsuipc provides the display functionality for the rc menus.do you reall want "lear 4 1 4 9, tower, taxi to runway 1 2 L and hold short" on your display?jd JD Read my blog
