Will this be possible??

Featured Replies

Will it be possible in a version of AFCAD sometime or something similar to Afcad so that you could assign a gate to an airline or airlines as what would be really neat is if say at gate 35 at Orlando for example you could tell it to either have delta or BA or Virgin aircraft there so that you dont get united or southwest or another airline. I know that you can split the airport into Layers but then if Im using Project AI flightplans it wont know where 2mco would be without me having to change flightplans. What do people think about that?Do you think it will be possible or is there much more to it than that.Also...do you think AI planes will ever be able to fly real routes instead of just being vectored at start and at destination and flying direct inbetween but instead flying along jetways and over Vors and using real world routes. Thanks for readingCraig Kiltie

HIya Mike.I did mention overlays in my post but called it layers instead but if Im using Project AI flight plans and dont want to get involved into editing them manually I wont be able to assign orlando for example to two airports and I was hoping that maybe someday you could just click on properties on the gate and then assign what airlines would use that gate, abit like how Lagos Traffic manager used to work with Fs traffic.Craig Kiltie

Indeed, that

HiYes, well what with everything else that gets made as addons by people it wouldnt suprise me and then when you are suprised a new version of Flightsim comes out for people to start from scratch again and the quirks get posted and then a few months later theyre sorted out. Craig Kiltie
