Hi I'm thinking of getting Radar Contact and after reading the manual on their website, I have a couple of questions regarding the holding patterns1. You have the options of OFF/Weather/ON for holding but if you have it ON does that mean every flight will have a holding pattern or only when it is required?2. When ON does it apply to holds because of weather and holds because of busy traffic in the area?3. If you approach Heathrow or JFK, are you more likely to get into a holding pattern at those airports than at some quite airport where traffic is much less?Many thanks

the manual covers the percentages of being held with the weather option. depends on the weather, runways, etc.always on, you will always be heldthat being said, there has to be a vor as your last checkpoint, and it can't be more than 5 miles from the arrival airport for ANY hold to be issued.jd
