Captain Bob Whitten and Friend

Aboard the SEAMARK. Bob Whitten was the Captain and here he is with a crab. We had a bonded store aboard SEAMARK, and one day we were haled by a passing crab fisherman. He asked us if we had beer aboard and when we confirmed that we did, he offered to trade us a couple bushels of crab for a case or two of beer. We ate crab three meals a day for at least a week after that. Crab omlette, crab and steaks, crab salad; you get the idea.
