    Highlights
On this Corsairfly DVD we journey to St.Maarten and Fort De France from Paris onboard the 747-400. While this DVD was a somewhat short, it was jam packed with many highlights. For example, there is an extensive flight preparation and briefing segment at the beginning in preparation for departure which is followed by a walkaround of the 747.

In this DVD you will also find segments that feature Oceanic Clearance procedures, cockpit presentations and a very scenic approach to St.Maarten. The short flight to Martinique was uneventful but it was also interesting in that while it was raining, there was a rainbow on the approach path which added to the scenic view from the cockpit.

After a crew change at FDF, it was time to depart for our flight to Paris which ended with an uneventful landing in hazy weather in the early morning hours. Overall this was a great DVD.

Our next DVD features Air Canada 767-300 to destinations in South America.

    Highlights

The DVD starts off with clips of the 767 landing at Toronto which is then followed by an extensive crew briefing. In the cockpit, the Captain checks the aircraft log and continues cockpit preparation before departing for Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Highlights from these flights include an overview of the routing, deviation around thunderstorms (which are visible from the cockpit at night), Overhead panel presentation and an interesting discussion on the durability of the 767 versus Airbus aircraft.

After landing in Santiago and departing for Buenos Aires, you will notice the mountainous scenery from the cockpit which the Captain has to take into consideration in his routing for safety reasons. The return flight to Santiago and then on to Toronto was uneventful but still features a few interesting moments such as the sunrise and the scenic approach into Toronto.

My impression of this DVD is that while it may be a bit older (as compared to the 777 and A330 DVDs) it was still equally informative and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this one to you 767 fans out there.

Our final DVD features PrivatAir from Dusseldorf to Newark on the A319LR and 737BBJ.

    Highlights

This DVD is a bit different to the ones we are use to. First of all we start off with a short cockpit view departure and landing from Dusseldorf on the A319LR, this is followed by another departure from DUS to Newark from the cabin view.

Highlights of this trip include a flight crew safety briefing, in-flight service and a scenic approach to Newark with NYC in view. While in NY, Just Planes takes us on a tour of New York which is followed by our return flight onboard the 737BBJ to Munich.

This was a very short DVD but I have to say it was the most unique in that it features an airline that many of us may only dream of being able to afford to fly on. PrivatAir offers a very exclusive service which is clearly seen from the cabin seating which is 2 seats per aisle and a meal fit for a king.

Overall I enjoyed this DVD and I think it’s worth having a look at.

    Summary/Closing Remarks

Once again, these DVDs were an absolute pleasure to watch and I think anyone who loves aviation will enjoy them. At a cost of $25-30 each they are a bargain.

These are perfect for days when you what to see or do something aviation related but also want to enjoy the comforts of home. Just Planes has really stepped up their editing and production of their DVDs and I am sure we will continue to see more innovations in their future products.
