  1. Hi,I guess your customers need to use a credit card in order to buy online your software...? So, every CC has it's numbers and is bound to your customer or the father/mother if under 18 years old. So, like F1 and FDS does it, you get a key file ones when you buy one of there products and you are to save that somewhere. If it is ZIP, DISC, HDD or CDR/DVD, it aint matter. Whenever you wanna reinstall, you have to have this key file. But that alone doesnt work. Online you have to locate and send info from your key AND some digits from YOUR CC in order to identify yourself as a registrated customer. Is there any way how THAT system of protection can be cracked? Well, I still can copy the unpacked install file and install it wherever I wand to. But, if you cannot install it at all without having the original CDR or a internet connection, cause you have to verify your ident as a reg. customer within running the installation by the net with key and CC digits, this last way of hacking will be blocked. It is in every country against law to pass your CC number to someone in order to use the key and the number illegal to install a software. If I would let my virtuell son buy your software, I'd give him my CC number. He has to use his name, but our family name and my CC to get a key. Ah, the installation software of the product has to check if there is already a installed version without need of an update or any big change within the customers PC system. If there is a need to reinstall, it will ask for the CC and the key file and maybe as well for a password created by only the customer who bought it. So, only he may install it again. Further more you may have some dll within FS2k2 after installation which looks if the key generated bound to mayor system components is right. If not, FS2k2 just dont let you fly your planes. So, it cannot be installed at more than one PC without checking with you online. So, I see a mix of F1 and CS copy protection system without you personaly have to handle it by e-mail.Did I made any sence? Is it a idea?Ciao and Regards, Torben Hadler EDDM

  2. Hi,I have an idea: You have different customers with different systems. Like AMD 800MHz, 256MB Ram, GF2 GTS, or like me, AMD XP 2400+, 768MB DDR Ram, GF4 4200 550MHz or even some with better hardware than me. So, some may get problems flying a highend airplane with all possible eyecandies and functionalities and other run it just fine even with all sliders maxed out and flying a PIC-A320 without big problems, so would have no problems with a highend aircraft from you. Why dont you make more moduls, like low, middle and highend? Low has just what it needs to fly your plane like a DF737, but without damage and failure simulation enabled and embadded; middle has it like you wand it with all but not with a designer plus like these flood lighting. And the highend customer will get it all whatever you throw at them but you get paid three different classes. For Highend you need more time and effort to design and programm the whole package, so customer who wands all pay more than the others. I like to get the BIG Pack, so I am willing to wait a little longer for it and I would pay more for it. Others wands it so as it could be just as it is now but throu beta-test phase. So, what do you say about that?Greetings from EDDM,Torben Hadler>Andreas->>Oh- no apology needed.... >>The flood lighting itself isn't hard on frame rates- but we>have quite a few additional goodies packed into this panel- so>with every layer of additional complexity to increase the>amount of memory required by the user.>>Thus- if we keep gobbling up memory- you get unusable frame>rates...>>we are trying to avoid that! >>

  3. Howde JD,how are you doing buddy?I'd love to read something new about what you and AntiCyClone are communicate and do about the radio problem that Otto cannot handle the PIC-A320 radio and even manualy it doesnt work right to contact tower, departure etc.I guess by now AntiCyClone should recieved tje RC3 CD and had some time to play around with it...Cheers and have a good day.

  4. Hi,I have this all the time. I climb very fast in the beginning with mostly about 3200ft/min to 2000ft/min until I reach FL100, than I climb with 2200 to 1600 untill I am at the planned flightlevel. That's with B733 and B737-700 what I fly both most. All the time I have to call center by myself to get permission to climb higher. Whenever I forget to ask I get busted 'cause center is 90% never there to notice my fast climb and give me early enough the next level. Because of my virtual passengers I keep climbing and so get busted. Because I about never experienced in real live this step-climbing in short-haul flights. Decents back down is all the same! I mostly am too fast down or what? I have configured RC to about 70% chatters, so there are less overlaps of chatter and waypoint overflights, so ATC sees that I passed a checkpoint. But descenting with 2200ft/min. when RC calls me to descent is toooo fast? When I tried with less, lets say 1600ft/min, I get too close but too high in airport 40nm range and get panic to get down to 10000 and 250kt. Doesnt RC calculates Weather and wind up there??? I have pax and cargo done by ACLoader 4 and so my plane reacts more realistic. So it may be easier to descent fast or it is more diffecult and such.

  5. Hi Scott,>Torben,>>The PIC A320 radio may write to the comm 1/comm 2 variables,>but may not read from them - and that would be a problem. I just have a heavy guess that there is the problem.>There is nothing RC can do about that. I would imagine if>this is true, any add-on radio system or external control>won't work. And that's an AntiCyclone problem easily solved>by them.So I wonder why they havent yet found this problem spot in the code, maybe they never had a closer look?>I'm learning towards this direction because of the linked comm>1 and comm 2 and not being able to control from the default>audio panel or set from default radios (if what the others>have reported is true).I realy beleave that all that is true. So many customer of both cannot be wrong what they experience, right? So, I shell set a link to this forum discussion in the Wilco Forum... I dont fly the PIC-A320 just because I cannot fly as it should be and is with all other airplanes with ATC by RC301. I am about to go for a refund from WilcoPub...CheersTorben

  6. Yo Scott, there is this modern technic that AntiCyclone uses a interactive VC where all the PIC-A320 gauges are and they work interactive but with each his own programming, not FS2k2 default. Of course not default - FS2k2 doesnt handle normal gauges in the VC. The PIC-A320 gauges communicates bypassing by some *.dll and (pic-a320).ini, which compute the input and give this to fs2k2 where it gets handled like info from 'normal' gauge output. This communication way of the PIC-A320 works this way as well with the yoke/joystick data. So, I guess not even adding default gauges into a non existing normal panel in the panel.cfg would work. It'll gets bypassed. I already tried that befor the update.AntiCyclone already told us that they did take a look into the programming code and couldnt find any error or cause why RC cannot work with PIC-A320. Well, they dont know how RC works and interacts with FS2k2. I know deep in my heart that there is/will be a solution! Just you two parties should work together and check out both programming codings. The VC-Radio gauge may be programmed with default code but FS2k2 doesnt know about that. FS2k2 gets the gauge data not from a default known gauge out of the panel but outside bypassed. FS2k2 gets the data, but RC probably tries to get the data through default or alike gauge data and cannot see any interactive gauges in VC or data flow bypassing the normal data flow. It has to be related to how they got the VC working interactive...CheersTorben

  7. Hi JD,I have the same problem. The PIC-A320 seems to be incompatible with RC301. AntiCyclone already told me that they use non standart programming of there radio. They told me further that they may program another version of there radio functions in another update. Well, maybe it just needs little changes in the code and a smal patch could be made. Please get together and communicate about that with AntiCyclone. Otherwise they may loos some customers who doesnt wanna fly without RC. Till today all aircrafts, no matter if freeware or payware, have standart radio functions in use, but PIC-A320. I fly EVERY airliner and many GA flights with RC301 and just love it. I have the feeling that I cannot enjoy PIC-A320 as much as I could due to this problem. I already posted a message in this other forum of Wilco, but that doesnt mean that you dont need to communicate with them...Please, this FS2kx world is one where all live together no matter if religions, cultures or countries are different, we wanna work together in peace. That for is this AVSIM Forum system. So all, please use it to communicate.

  8. Hello my friend, who ever you are,why do you write in caps letter? If you have any eye sight problems, you can use windows own build-in functions, so you dont need to write in caps. I like to read all in little letters, exept names, sentence beginnins and such stuff like you should have learned in your school, didnt you?In my mother-tongue language it is even more complicated to write in the right way. But anywhere in the internet in communities it is inpolite and even unfriendly to write the way you do. May I ask your age? Or do you have any mind-disadvantages?Well, it may be that my writing isnt the best too, 'cause it isnt my home-language. And so long no one corretcs me, I will do misstakes on the way. In gramma as well as in writing style. But I am now about 10 years in the internet and collected many experiences and learned a lot. May you be able to learn us much and more as well.Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia ProductionsTorben Hadlerhttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  9. Now I removed all nvidia files and reinstalled the original Aopen driver. Ones in flight my PC just froze and rebooted. Somehow I have the feeling that my GraCa is somehow defect from these power loss I experienced a week ago. Or the mainboard is defect? I try some more settings and configurations. But maybe someone here knows why Windows behaves so strange when flying with FS2k2pro???PLEASE HELPRegards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  10. Hi,I already did that. I removed every file what was related to nvidia out of my system32 folder, uninstalled the driver completely and reinstalled many different after and after again and again. Uninstalled, removed files and reinstalled. No way, that all didnt work at all. No matter what driver I use and all with default configuration and settings and NO OC at all, I get this problem. Now I changed the pointer. No use! As soon I activate the ADVDisplay, the screen flickers and get weard. After quitting FS2k2, it's all ok again. Now I will try and remove my fs2002.cfg and let FS2k2 build a new one. Than I'll add all in there, so all the third party addons will work again. mybe that'll solve the problem!Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  11. I always used the bronce 3d cursor pointer. But 'till a week ago I had none problems. But I got a power-loss so my PC shuted down and rebooted. Someone in this house runs a real big maschine or alike. In the nite we heated food in the microwave and as soon the micro got finished I experienced a powerloss. Windows Xp didnt liked that, but mostly my Graphic Card didnt like that. Since than I have this problem. I will check out about the pointer. But can it be as well some update I downloaded from microsoft.com?Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  12. Hi all, I have installed the latest of Pete Downsons ADVDisplay. Whenever I activate it and dock it somehwere within my 2D panel of any plane, I get a realy nice problem! The screen flickers as when it fold and unfolds itself, the mouse cursor becomes funny little and doubled and all my graphiccard gets confused. When I disable ADVDisplay, it is all ok. I have already installed many different nvidia drivers from www.guru3d, but that didnt help. I can remember the time when it was just functioning normal. I have a Epox 8k3a mainboard, AOpen GF4 4200 550MHz, 768 MB DDR 2100 and Windows XP Pro SP1. Do you need more info about my system? So, can you tell me what is going on? Can it be that it has something to do with latest windows update of Directx9 via automatic windows update function??? Some configuration I should better not have activated with RivaTuner2? 14. Well, if you have the money to spent for the PFC... I havent, but I'd love to buy them! I'd say a joystick is tooo sensitive. If I can control a B747 as easily as a F16 with the same joystick, there is something wrong. That was the case with my joystick. Both have about the same price, so...But I guess if I would try just for some minutes the PFC, I wouldnt spent a nother look at my CH-YOKE. But I am not cracy enough to spent sooo much for a single gaming device I wouldnt use with anything else. I already spent a lot too much money in ADDONS! With the money I spent already, I could have been able to buy twice a airline ticket between Europe and USA!Well, it's always a question where the focus is... If you know what I mean.Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  15. Hi,I have them as well. I love them! Best I ever bought for the FS2k2! I used to have a MS ForceFeedback 2 Joystick, but now it is a much more realistic feeling to fly with these CH YOKE and PEDALS, both USB.Installation was easy and with FSUIPC I can calibrate them and even configure buttons and axes of the devices!Well, I havent them for years, just now about two month. So, I dont know how long they realy will function. If you can affort it, you should buy them for sure!Just one contra: If you have not the space on your desk, need space for your body to lean forward to reach easily your keyboard to work, you would have a little problem. BUT, they are easy to unscrew and remove from your desk table. If you have a place near by to park them, no problem.Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  16. Hi Stanley, somehow I have to reboot my brain. Ah.. after setting up my 3D driver within nvidia control panel, I wonder how to activate the glasses. I have the choice of activate them by key command or have them ON all the time. I prefere by key command. But when to use it? I dont wanna have the effect just by working - not flying. But when I start FS2k2, these key commands are not avayable. Cant the 3D effect turn on automaticly when I start FS2k2? Why is there a control panel just for games within the 3D stereo control panel?Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  17. Hi guys, just a little question:How to add fuel tanks to a existing aircraft?I have AirEd and AAM, but somehow I cannot add a line like a fuel tank or two to the file by using these editors. Is it nessesary to edit the air file or is it good enough to edit the aircraft.cfg and modify and add these tanks? I wanna have a better concorde as the concorde from the "Project Concorde 2003" but the fuel tanks are wrong.DO you know how to approach this problem?Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)

  18. Hi,well, sofare I was already going well, but when I have set all as it should, I still dont know how to activate the 3D effect for my glasses when I am within FS2k2. I know how to configure the driver and settings, but not how to turn them ON for FS2k2.Any idea?Regards,T-A-H MultiMedia Productionshttp://www.t-a-h.comt-a-h@t-a-h.comAMD TB 2400; Epox 8k3a+; 768MB 2100 DDR; Aopen GF4 4200 550MHz; CH-YOKE + Peddals; 17" Dell Monitor; WinXP Pro (German Version); FS2k2 pro (German Version)
