  1. Hi all,to whom have the twotter and uses the one with skies: Is there with FS2k2 realy a scenery of winter ans snow and ice to have a real as it gets experience with this twotter? Or would do a wheel version do it as well without any differences to experience? And if there is a difference and a realy case of using the skie version of the twotter, where to fly and land this nice plane?CiaoTorben.

  2. Hi,I was wondering exactly if it would do more to buy a new graphic card and stepping from a GF3T400 to a GF4 4400 TI or instead to upgrade to a better CPU! I have the same motherboard like you, but just DDR 266MHz not 333MHz. Well, if I woul dhave the money to buy a new CPU like a AMD Throroughbred XP 2700 which runs with 333MHz, then it would make sence to have DDR with 333MHz as well. But as long as the CPU cannot get the most out of it, like the Athlon K7 XP 2400 with only 266MHz RAM Bus speed, I say staying with my "old" DDR will do it as good. I guess my now just ordered upgrade from a XP1900 to an XP2400 makes a lot more sence, right? And it is just a bit cheaper than a new GPU!What do you say?CiaoTorben

  3. I wonder how to fly VFR with RC3. Please could someone give me lite into that? I tried to read the manual but well, english is not my first language...Does it matter if I setup a flightplan with FS2k2 planner in VFR or IFR so RC knows that I will not stay on course, but fly just like weather dictates me to fly?CiaoTorben.

  4. Hi Scott, well, I thank your a lot for the info. I know you doing it just for fun and as a side hobby programming what we all need and love. If you have had the time, you could or should do it not as freeware but as payware. But that would put a lot different pressure uppon you.So, we know now that it'll take up to februar/march. Just a thought: Why not splitting the program in two? One for airliner jets and one for GAs. The most payware GAs have good loader and so you spent realy a lot time programming and editing the GA part. But there are so many more jets...Wish you all the best, supporting RC2-3 and ACLoader. And have fun doing your ART work in the rest of your life.CiaoTorben

  5. Dear Scott Campbell,I wonder when your new ACLoader 4.0 will be ready. I just had a look about it at your WebSite and was very pleased what all will be changed and be better then the latest version now.More so I wonder if you will include the oportunity to place PAX on two, three and fore or five rows of seats. In the current version all Pax are located in one row, no Z-axe variation.Well, I realy love your ACLoader a lot. It is better then about all other loader which comes with some of the payware aircrafts.CiaoTorben.

  6. Sometimes FSNav gives me some 2 to 5 miles dist btween checkpoints to get from one airway to the other or arrival route. Sometimes the wind is about 120kt sidewind and I fly with mach 0.78 and - I get out of the 5 miles ckeckpoint radius. And when I fly with the FMC of a DF737 or PSSA320, the FMC calculates a radius turn by a checkpoint. So I fly a early curve so to get around a corner of maybe 90degrade or alike. If the wind is strong enough I dont hit the area of 2-5 miles a checkpoint. The best FMCs or MCDU try to not overshoot a waypoint and route and begin the curve early, but RC3 doesnt like that. Can I change the area of 2 miles to 8 miles?ThanxTorben.

  7. Hi JD,my problem is that sometimes I miss a waypoint for just a tic of maybe 0.2nm, but still miss it and have ti return to get it. So why do I miss a waypoint? Weather wind is so strong! It doesnt matter if otto flys or a GPS driven AP or a FMC. Can I alter anywhere the area in which I have to be about a waypoint, so it will count as passed?Do I make any sence? I dont wanna fly holdings cause I cant make a waypoint close enough.Ciao, Torben.

  8. Well, did I ever wrote I am a pilot myself? I am not. But when I have a GA RG and I have to fly fast so I can get down on final befor a 747 would overtake me within air and final, I shall get the gear down as late as possible so I dont loos speed to much befor I neet this loss. Well, I tried it with the new DF Cardinal Turbo RG. It is SOO fast I have to get the gear down to have a slowing effect. But not 2+ miles away from airport. I need a lot more power to keep the plane out of rocks and mountains and having speed enough so a airliner would not have to use speedbrakes and gear and flaps all to fly as slow as I do. If I fly with gear down and the gear has to go down NOT befor I am slow enough for not damageing them, a airliner would have to fly final behind me with 90kt? Well, I know no airliner hich can do that. They could fly at 130kt stall speed but not 90! (DC9, B707, etc.) And 130 is the fastest I can go but not tuch down! So I fly in with about 110 and slow down with gear setting down 1 mile or even a half mile away from the numbers. So I can get the speed further down by setting flaps down more then T/O and push the nose down. This looks funny but some way it has to be like that I guess when having a airliner in your neck.I just try to think like a real pilot...

  9. Yesterday I got RC3!!! I was toooo busy installing and having a tryout trip last nite. I went to bed at about 0100 in the morning, had to get up already again at 0700. So, I feel like a 747 has tuched down on me!Did you already make a save within RC3 and a debug? Does ist work with your german version of Windows and FS2k2? Within first trip I didnt come around trying that out. So far no problems. Just didnt get the gear down early enough so I got many go-arounds! FS2k2 never let my fly goarounds just caused by not having the gear down! That is something to get used to... Well, do I must have the gear down 2.1nm away from runway, when I fly just a little cessna cardinal? I would spent too much fuel by flying all unnessesary lenght with gear down. I think it is not toooo close by to have the gear down at 1 nm away from tuchdown, is it?It'll be different when I fly a bigger plane like 737 or something alike!Guten Tach nochTorben.

  10. Oh, ah well...ok ok ooook! ;o)) I dont wanna push any of you. Well, you know, this exitement......I just had a nother look into the manual which says to give you time of 24h. Well, I'm sorry but will not have THE big time to fly much today. Here in germany it is already 21:43 and not just past lunchtime. My day is almost over. Here it is about 20F outside temperature (-10C) and I have to get my 7 hours beauty sleep to get up at 0700 in the morning. But tomoooorry.... I will check out ALL of RC3! I have awaited all my FS2k2 life to fly with the best ATC I could ever get to fly as real as it can be! It can be lonesome and boring flying long trips with this stupid FS2k2 default ATC and not as many and good chatter as you provide. So, have a good day and nice vacation to you I guess.

  11. Hello JD,please, please have a look out for the e-mail t-a-h@t-a-h.com. Some hours ago I send the e-mail, but stil got no reply. Iiiii knoooow, you havealot to dooooo.... Just have a look or have someone of your team whom does the registration stuff a look about my key code request.CiaoTorbent-a-h@t-a-h.com

  12. I will have a try out right away when my key request e-mail will be replied. Just today I found the realy nice slim case of RC3 within my post /snailmails. I am soooooo exited, but have to weait till I get the code! Than I will try out all and especialy the save function if all works with my german version of windows and FS2k2.CiaoTorben.

  13. Well, call me Torben.Yes I dont like to change my settings. I use FSMeteo, FSNav, FDC, FlightPlanner and some other FS2k2 ADDON progs. And of course other non FS2k2 progs. I dont wanna change my setting every time I just start FS2k2, not using any prog in bg which need my german setting of the decimal point/commata. Some need it, some not. And I could forgett from time to time that I have to re-set the settings after I quit FS2k2. So, the RC3 VB program has to be changed so it can be switched for the other users in other countries can change just and only the RC settings. So, I wonder if the database of all VORs and DMEs and airports etc. are with lat/long entries and these ARE different interpreted here in germany with the setting different. So, are you sure THERE ARE NO other problems? Well, I do my planing with Unlimited Airlines and FSNavigator and export these plans to FS2k2 and to whatever I have to. There the data is just right and all works well. But I have another planing software where the Lat/long is in error caused by my german settings. So, I cant use this software for planing any longer. Yes, and what IF I forgett to change back my settings and wanna do calculations with excel? Excel needs exactly my german settings when I calculate finances etc.. There is a difference betweem

  14. Hallo, did you already get RC? Wow! Where in DE do you live? Yesterday I had it not yet in munich. So, tell me, how will you change the software so it can run here on any german version of Windows XP with german version of FS2k2?I will not swap my system setting to the US field delimiter, 'cause many other programs would not like that. JD has to change the VB program and recompile it all over again for german systems, I guess. Maybe there are other problems with calculations within the RC program what will only show up here in germany and are no problem at all in other countries.JD, what do you think about that?Ciao, t_a_h>Hi, >>first of all I love RC3. GREAT WORK! >>Now to the possible bug. On my german system the options are >not saved correctly. It seems that you save the slider >positions as double. So the values are stored as "y,x" and >not "y.x" with german settings. As you use ',' as the field >delimiter the options are not read correctly. If I can help >to solve the problem let me know. >>Regards >>Thomas

  15. What you have to pay for that update? I got mine from 5.1 to 5.2 without having to pay anything. So, I got the FSmeteo update as soon as it was ready. You probably know when that was, right? Ok, was 5.2 just as it was released already so full working with RC as it seems to be here right now these days? Or do I have to ask him again for an updated file? Is the FSMeteo 5.1 of first release the same as the one you get after paying for it today?

  16. Have you checked the FSUIPC setting to correct the AI traffic by real weather? And have you set all variables of FSMeteo right? Then FSUIPC tells FS2k2 the right runway to take and it should use same as RC chooses. There is this AI Traffic Project which sets all airports with the right aircrafts and flightplans and routes. These AI files are the best I ever experienced and since I installed them I cant remember seeing wrong AI traffic takeoff pattern.Do I make any sense?

  17. What about FSUIPC? Does the installer of RC3 install the latest FSUIPC, without looking if there is already a latest version and the fsuipc.ini? So, if the files gets replaced and or even the ini gets deleted, all settings are to default and so the view range is default etc.Just check and make sure your curent latest FSUIPC files are locked and can not be replaced when you install any scenery or a/c new to FS2k2.Just a thought.

  18. Well well, I hope I'll not get RC send by fishmail ;o))Normaly it should not take longer than a freaking week. But ya know, custom will scann the package for a couple of days as well here in Germany. Well, It could get to Munich airport right away by airmail and through custom. But they are realy tough here in Munich, especialy the airport-security.Have a nice dayTorben (EDDM)Gut zu wissen, bin nicht der einzige FS2k2-fan in Muenchen.
