  1. I bought the Meta Quest 3 about 3 months ago. Due to schedule I haven't been able to use it much in MSFS.  A month or so ago, I got VR to work with MSFS and it was great.  Now when I try and turn on VR in MSFS, I get a message "Initialization of VR failed, Please check that OpenXR is installed on your computer and your headset can use it."   Obviously I am missing something.  Your help is appreciated.

  2. I have three monitors. #1 (left) is attached to video card via HDMI. #2 & #3 are attached via display port.  #1 & #2 monitors are 7 years old.  #3 is 6 months old. Video card is a GEForce 2070.  Recently, when I power computer up, #3 comes up right away but #1 & #2 take 30 seconds or more to come up.  Question: Is this a monitor issue or video card issue?  Seems odd that the two oldest monitors are behaving slow the same way but attached to video card differently.  Suggestions are appreciated.  Thanks.

  3. Making scenery for me requires using several utilities.  For placing objects I use Instant Scenery Design.  For ramps, runways and airport stuff, I use ADE.  To create objects, I use either GMAX or Sketchup.  With Sketchup, I need Arno's Model ConverterX.  I have also used SAMM a bit to develop static aircraft.  I've been dabbling at this casually for years.  It is very daunting and complex.  Stay with it.   The rewards of completing a project are good.

  4. I have a problem with the 600. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it more than once. I have made sure all updates are applied. If I start a flight loading the 900, wait until loaded and stable, then switch to the 600, FSX goes graphics wacky and locks up. I've implemented all Kostas's recommendations plus the PMDG setup recommendations as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  5. A bit too much dancing around. An occasional rotating between views would be a nice affect. The rapid movement around the cockpit is not so good. I teach at a real life business jet training center and when I'm teaching ground school, how I move graphics around instrument panel can bother some clients. To, for theatrical effects, to cycle between fixed views would be great. When I am teaching in the simulator, to slew without warning after landing can cause nausea for some.

  6. Eliminate the HD (and the OS) , and test the RAM with a stand alone memory tester,

    ie memtest86+ http://www.memtest.org/

Check CPU and Graphics GPU temperatures .. may be Overheating.

( Blow away any dust etc, collected on cooling Fins )

If all else fails, make sure nobody has installed the following PC game

Computer is not overheating. I've run tests on temps while under loads I typically use. Good idea to run the memory test. I'll report back.
